The Shack came into my life just at the right juncture. When I first picked up the book years ago, it didnt speak to me and I never read it. This time it literally jumped outta a shelf at me. I now realize it must be for a purpose.
If I didnt cry a few tears while reading thru 'The Shack', then I didnt get it.
If I didnt realize the depth of Jesus' sacrifice for his people, then I didnt get it.
If I hadnt realized that God is different from my perceptions, then I didnt get it.

The Shack is a simple but with such a strong message. A strong and wonderful message of God's plan, the mysteries behind it and his gift of love.

I will have to read it again a few months, years later. I am sure it will have a new message for me then. A message that I will be ready to receive and the grace to accept.

I get lost in books and live their lives until I turn the last page. I ponder a while, carry the laughter, shed a few tears and sigh. Then the thirst for more arises.
